Sonam slams MLA's statement on LGBTQ

Sonam Kapoor has reacted strongly against MLA Sudhir Mungantiwar's recent comments about the LGBTQ community. The politician was reportedly speaking about the Maharashtra Public University Act, 2016 Bill, which aims to include LGBTQIA community members on University Boards. Questioning the bill he stated, "Are you going to include lesbians and gays as members? Have some seriousness." Reacting to the same Sonam Kapoor shared on Instagram, "Ignorant, illiterate and hurtful."
