Aamir Khan reveals why he chose to release all songs from Laal Singh Chaddha without visuals; says, “The songs are the soul of the film”

Aamir Khan has finally unveiled the 'Kahani' that has been teasing over the past week. On a radio show, the actor unveiled the first musical asset of the much-anticipated film Laal Singh Chaddha. Aamir's ‘Kahani' is nothing but the first track from his upcoming film co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan. Directed by Advait Chandan, the film is the official adaptation of the Hollywood film Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks.

On Thursday, Aamir Khan released the first track from Laal Singh Chaddha through a radio channel. Releasing the track, Aamir said, "Iss dafa, saare gaane jo hai without visuals release honge (This time, all songs will be released without visuals)". He also added they have not planned on when they will be releasing the tracks with visuals but asked the audience to enjoy the tracks from the film in the audio-only format.

Sung by Mohan Kannan, ‘Kahani’ is composed by Pritam and penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The melodious track is already on repeat mode for audiences who have had the chance to hear the track.

Talking about the song, Aamir said, "I truly believe that the songs in Laal Singh Chaddha are the soul of the film and this album has some of my career’s best songs. It was a very intentional decision to put Pritam, Amitabh, the singers, and technicians in the spotlight because not only do they deserve to be center stage but also the music deserves its due credit. I can’t wait to see how audiences react to the music that the team has poured their heart and soul into."

'Kahani' from Laal Singh Chaddha is also available to stream on Hungama Music.

Laal Singh Chaddha will be released in theatres on August 11.
