Cannes 2022: Deepika Padukone brings drama and elegance in gold-and-black Louis Vuitton gown for ‘Elvis’ premiere

Deepika Padukone has been the epitome grace at the 75th Cannes Film Festival. She is one of the eight members of the Cannes jury. The actress has also made news for her fashionable appearances on the French Riviera.  She shared a lovely collection of images from her new look on Wednesday night for premiere of film Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis. She is wearing a Louis Vuitton ensemble in black and gold.

Deepika Padukone took to Instagram to show off her outfit for the Cannes Film Festival, posting photos on her stories and feed. The Bajirao Mastani actress wore a Louis Vuitton gown, as she has just become the first Indian brand ambassador for the internationally recognised label.

The floor-length gown was covered in black and golden metallic designs, giving it an obvious gleam and majestic appearance. She also donned a matching shoulder piece with stunning black fur sleeves, which upped the glam factor by many notches.

Deepika chose a smoky eye, bronzed cheeks and a nude-brown lip for her look. Her nails were painted in wine red. She wore her slick hair back down to her shoulders. She accessorised this outfit with black-and-golden simple earrings and classy black and silver stylish rings on her fingers that matched the hue of her stunning gown without overpowering it.

Deepika shared the pictures on her social media space and her husband, actor Ranveer Singh, was one of the first ones to comment on Deepika’s photos. He wrote, “QUEEN!!!!

On the work front, Deepika was most recently seen in Shakun Batra's Gehraiyaan. She will next appear in Pathaan alongside Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. Aside from that, she has The Intern, Fighter, and Prabhas' Project K in her kitty.
