Punjabi popstar AP Dhillon intoxicates the fans with his performance at Lollapalooza India; brings out ukulele as he croons his hits ‘Tere Te’, ‘Summer High’, ‘Brown Munde’, ‘Excuses’

The Canadian-Indian singer AP Dhillon, popularly known for his songs like ‘Summer High’, ‘Excuses’, and ‘Brown Munde’, is currently in India. The singer performed on Saturday at the first Asia edition of Lollapalooza in Mumbai, co-produced and promoted by BookMyShow. The two festival, being held at the Mahalaxmi Race Course in Mumbai, witnessed artists from all over the world to perform in India. AP Dhillon was joined by fellow rapper Shinda Kahlon on stage.   The Gurdaspur-born Indo-Canadian singer crooned tracks like ‘Tere Te’ from his album Hidden Gems while strumming on his ukulele as the audience cheered on for him with claps, screams and whistles. The crowd was enamoured by the stage presence of the artist who was enthralling the audience with his voice. From songs like ‘Brown Munde’ to ‘Summer High’, ‘Excuses’ to ‘Insane’ and ‘Wo Noor’, every track was met with loud response from his audience. AP Dhillon, who recently launched his new album ‘Two Hearts Never Break The Same’, recently spread smiles for miles for young, underprivileged Basketball players in India in partnership with BookASmile, the charity initiative of BookMyShow, India’s leading entertainment destination. They recently joined hands to support the construction of a Basketball court in the singer’s home state in Punjab to further sports development for the underprivileged in the state. To kick-start this joint initiative, BookASmile organised a friendly Basketball match between AP Dhillon and underprivileged children training in the sport, with its partner NGO Hi5 Youth Foundation at a BookASmile-constructed court at one of the BMC Schools in Mumbai.
