Shah Rukh Khan claims Deepika Padukone is the Fighter in Siddharth Anand’s next; Hrithik Roshan is romantic lead

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has all the reasons to celebrate. Her latest release Pathaan has crossed Rs. 500 crore globally and has shattered several box office records in India. Led by Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham, the actress plays a spy and performs swoon-worthy action in the movie. Following this, she will collaborate with Anand again in Fighter alongside Hrithik Roshan. SRK said that she is infact the Fighter in the movie and Hrithik is the romantic lead. The team of Pathaan held a press conference on Monday in order to celebrate the success of the film. The actor said, "In Fighter, Hrithik is the romantic lead. Deepika is the fighter. I have heard the story.” Talking about doing an action film, Deepika said, “Every scene requires a different emotion, whether it’s romance, action, or comedy. I have been underutilized in action, though I’ve done a few films where I had action scenes. Chandni Chowk To China had some scenes. You have to be careful while doing action, but I treat it like any other scene. Action, emotion, crying, it all has to flow.” Fighter will see Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone as Indian Air Force pilots. The film also stars Anil Kapoor in a major role. Turning producer with Fighter, director Siddharth Anand, who is known for helming India’s biggest action films is pulling out all stops to set up this massive spectacle, set to grip audiences with a never before big screen experience.  With producer & Viacom18 Studio’s COO Ajit Andhare's vision of bringing an international-scale action film to Indian cinema, the film intends to appeal to a global audience with its story deeply rooted in India. Shot across the world, it promises state-of-the-art techniques and technology in making the film.
