Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway trailer: Karan Johar gives a shoutout; calls Rani Mukerji starrer a “courageous film”

Rani Mukerji is back on the big screen in a never-seen-before character. The much-awaited trailer of Ashima Chibber's directorial Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway is out now. Playing a fierce woman, Rani is seen fighting against an entire Norwegian government to reunite with her children. Reacting to the trailer, filmmaker Karan Johar took to his verified social media handle and gave a shout-out to this “courageous film”. The 50-year-old director shared the official trailer of the film along with an emotional note. It read, “I have had the privilege of seeing this heartbreaking and massively courageous film…Hand on heart this is Rani Mukerji’s best performance till date … to say that she is absolutely outstanding is still not completely describing her portrayal of an anguished and distraught mother.” He further added, “I don’t think there is a single parent in this world that will not be hugely affected and then vindicated in the viewing of this brilliant film… bravo to @emmayentertainment for producing their best and bravest film so far ( props to Greenlawans high school #iykyk) and the director @ashhimachibber for her excellence in directing this film with such nuance! A source told us, “Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway is a special film for Rani Mukerji as this is the first time she has turned singer. A soulful composition in the film has been sung by her and it will be one of the film’s highlights. “I warned Rishi Kapoor about his health”, says best friend Rakesh Roshan

Rishi Kapoor and Rakesh Roshan were close friends for 45 years. Rakesh is understandably shaken by the suddenness of his pal’s death. “I met him last on March 15 over dinner.
