EXCLUSIVE: Waluscha De Sousa on working with Apoorva Lakhia in Crackdown season 2: "He makes the toughest scenes seem like a cake walk"

Waluscha De Sousa is filled with gratitude that she made her OTT debut with none other than Apoorva Lakhia with whom she started her journey on the Crackdown series. As Garima Kalra, Waluscha has received a lot of fame and critical acclaim playing the character of an undercover Isis agent and she gives credit to her director who's given her the role of her career.

Waluscha can't stop praising Apoorva for giving her this action-oriented role as it’s a genre she always wanted to explore and has gotten love and adulation in Crackdown season 1. The actress says, "Apoorva as a director is very methodical. He is all planned out and does not waste any time in execution. He gives his actors ample space to explore. He is so sure of what he wants and crystal clear in communicating it. He makes the toughest scenes seem like a cakewalk and approaches it with such ease that it keeps an actor composed. He put his trust in me with Garima and gave me such an unforgettable debut… I cannot thank him enough."

Waluscha adds, "The kind of love and adulation I have received for ‘Crackdown’ was so unexpected. It is such a good feeling to be appreciated for the work you put in. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the show will feature Waluscha co-starring Saqib Saleem and Shriya Pilgoankar.
