Marking the return of Karan Johar as a director after seven years, this year, on the filmmaker’s 25 years of being a part of cinema, he is all set to bring together the magnum opus romantic drama Rocky Aur Ranii Ki Prem Kahaani. The fun rom com not only boasts of a lead cast of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt but it will also feature veteran actors like Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan. The makers of the film recently released new stills from the film and the internet is going gaga over it.

On Friday, Dharma Productions took to their Instagram and shared a set of stills from the film. The recently unveiled stills from the film showcased the dynamic lead pair, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, alongside esteemed veterans Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan, who portray pivotal characters in the movie. One cannot help but be captivated by the breathtaking appearances of Ranveer and Alia in these newly released images. Alia Bhatt exuded sheer elegance and grace in her mesmerizing chiffon and organza sarees. Known for her preference for minimalistic makeup and subtle accessories both on and off-screen, Alia has broken away from her signature look for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Instead, she embraced a captivating transformation, with bold kohled eyes and adorned with exquisite silver jewellery. Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh effortlessly embodied the role of a quintessential Punjabi Munda, exuding charm and charisma. His distinctive jackets and stylish ear studs perfectly complement his rugged yet fashionable persona, creating a visually striking impact.

Readers would be aware that Karan Johar gave a sneak peek into the lives of Rocky and Rani’s families in the first look that was released on May 25. Jaya Bachchan is a part of the Randhawa Parivaar which also includes Dharmendra, Aamir Bashir, Kshitee Jog, Anjali Anand, who are a part of Ranveer Singh aka Rocky’s family. On the other hand, Alia Bhatt belongs to the Bengali Chatterjees which includes Shabana Azmi, Namit Das, along with Bengali actors like Tota Roy Choudhury and Churni Ganguly.

Talking about the film, it is slated to release worldwide on July 28, and fans can't wait to witness this star-studded extravaganza. Directed by Karan Johar, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani promises to captivate audiences in theatres across the globe.
