Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani gets terrific word-of-mouth; Ranveer Singh emerges victorious as Rocky Randhawa

Karan Johar’s return as a director after almost seven years with Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani was keenly looked forward. And once the teaser, trailer and the songs of the film, which stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in lead roles, were out, the anticipation touched the sky. The wait for the film’s release has turned out to be worth going by the response the film is garnering.

Going by the reactions for Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, the audience has shown a thumbs up to the movie as they got to witness an entertaining family romantic film after a long time. With Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Karan Johar has once again proven himself as one of the most prolific filmmakers of today’s era.

The film is also having a versatile effect on the audience. Once can see them laughing, cheering and hooting in the first half. But what is taking them by surprise is the post-interval portion which is striking an emotional cord and thereby providing a heart-warming feeling.

Among the various positives are the performances of the ensemble cast. Ranveer Singh looked in form in the promos as an energetic Rocky Randhawa. But the film showed much more than that. The audience is coming in to watch Ranveer but they are leaving the cinema halls with Rocky. Such has been the layered character, which has been performed impressively by the star.
