"It's Kareena Kapoor in a Sujoy Ghosh universe, what can be better than that" - says producer Jay Shewakramani about Jaane Jaan

Producer Jay Shewakramani is bringing the Hindi adaptation of "The Devotion of Suspect X" novel with the film Jaane Jaan. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the film marks the OTT Debut of Kareena Kapoor Khan and is all set to be released on Netflix soon.

Speaking on his collaboration with Kareena, Jay added, “When we took the film to Kareena, she loved the story instantly and now seeing her as Maya, I feel no one else could have been better suited for this role. Kareena made Poo and Geet iconic characters for a whole generation and I know Maya will become another iconic character to remember. It's Kareena Kapoor in a Sujoy Ghosh universe - what can be better than that? She's powerful, enigmatic and effortless, there's no way you can't be hooked on to her presence on-screen!”

The film is directed by the man of many mysteries himself, Sujoy Ghosh, and also marks the streaming debut of Kareena Kapoor Khan. Jaane Jaan will release on 21st September 2023 only on Netflix!
