Shilpa Shetty says her first co-star Shah Rukh Khan helped her a lot during Baazigar: “Learnt how to face camera from him”

Shilpa Shetty starrer Sukhee is all set to entertain audiences on 22nd September 2023. The actress has begun promotions of the movie. Amid the promo cycle, she recalled how it was Shah Rukh Khan, her first co-star, who helped her to learn acting and even Hindi during the shoot of Baazigar.

In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Shilpa Shetty said, “Bahut sukhee moments the because I was a newcomer unhone bahut patience ke sath mere sath kaam kiya. Kyunki na mujhe Hindi aati thi na acting. Toh maine jo bhi seekha us process mai Shah Rukh se bahut kuch seekhne ko mila mujhe kyunki he was a theatre actor. Camera ko face kaise karna, aur jis patience ke sath unhone mujhe scenes mai help kiya woh bahut hi sukhee moments rahe hai mere liye [So many happy moments because I was a newcomer and he worked with me with a lot of patience because I did not know how to speak Hindi or act. So whatever I learned in that process, I got to learn a lot from Shah Rukh because he was a theater actor. How to face the camera, and the patience with which he helped me in the scenes were very happy moments for me].”

Meanwhile, Sukhee marks the directorial debut of Sonal Joshi and is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra and Shikhaa Sharma.
