Kaun Banega Crorepati: Amitabh Bachchan asks channel and makers to change his ‘designation’ from being a host to marriage counsellor

Many contestants in the past have shared about their marital problems on the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati and Amitabh Bachchan, being the sweet host, has not only listened to them but also have come up with unique solutions for the same. Facing a similar situation yet again, Big B was left dumbstruck when a contestant complained about her husband not spending money and opened about these issues during the game.

The said contestant was a homemaker named Rachana Rastogi from New Delhi, who was seen complaining about marital issues to Amitabh Bachchan during the show. The contestant, who left the show with Rs. 1,60,000 as the prize money, opened up about how her husband would never spend money on her and when her husband responded by stating that he has taken her on a Europe trip, she countered it adding that it was sponsored by a bank. As she continued to stress about the same, Big B came up with a solution where he asked the husband to save money and take her on the said trip with his own money. He also asked him to write a lovely and romantic card dedicating to his wife. He also asked him to write a special note adding, “Hello darling, I want to take you to Europe at my own cost, whatever you want to buy, I will spend for you. Thank you so much, all my love.”

Further, Amitabh Bachchan went on to make a request to the channel and makers of the show about changing his designation. “People working at the channel, do change my designation from anchor to a marriage counselor. This is the only place where everyone can share their marital problems. We will look for a solution for you,” Amitabh Bachchan said as he assured Rachana.
