Fans around the world are devastated by the news of Matthew Perry's death at the age of 54. However, many may not know that the actor had previously fought for his life when his heart stopped at 49. In his memoir, Perry revealed that he underwent critical colon surgery after his colon ruptured due to his use of OxyContin. During the procedure, his heart stopped for five minutes.
