Animal trailer: Karan Johar calls Ranbir Kapoor starrer “Mind-blowing"; says, “This one’s going to break the box office”

The trailer for Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, has been met with rave reviews from fans and critics alike. Karan Johar, a renowned filmmaker and a close friend of Ranbir Kapoor, is the latest to join the bandwagon of fans praising the trailer.

In a post on his Instagram story, Johar called the trailer "mind-blowing" and "beyond expectations." He also praised Kapoor's performance, calling him a "sheer genius." Johar also had words of appreciation for director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, calling him a "STAR" who is "brilliantly original."

In addition to this, RK’s wife and actress Alia Bhatt also gave a shout-out to the trailer on her verified social media handle. The National-Award-winning actress wrote, “Can't really type a full caption; I'm too busy watching this trailer for the 7000th time. My mind is officially blown. I need to watch this movie. Like now. For the unversed, Animal is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and stars Kapoor as a gangster who is struggling to gain his father's approval. The film also features Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Triptii Dimri in pivotal roles. The film is scheduled for release on December 1, 2023, in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
