Koffee With Karan 8: Rani Mukerji speaks about being “Honeybee” for Adira and Aditya Chopra; thanks paparazzi for respecting her daughter’s privacy

In a recent episode of Koffee With Karan 8, Rani Mukerji opened up about her decision to protect her daughter Adira's privacy from the paparazzi. She revealed that she and her husband, Aditya Chopra, have made a conscious decision not to allow their daughter to be photographed.

"We have a different idea of how we want to raise Adira," the Mardaani actress explained. "We don't want her to feel privileged or special in school. And that would happen only if she would not be photographed."

The Hichki actress also thanked the paparazzi for respecting her daughter's privacy. "I have to thank all the paparazzi and media people," she said. "They really love me because they kind of respect that."

Karan Johar then asked Rani how she managed to keep Adira out of the spotlight. "I tell them, 'Don't take baby's picture,'" Rani replied. "They look at my eyes and they get scared."

Not only Adira, but KJo also spoke about Adhiya Chopra being photographed rarely. Responding to the same, the No One Killed Jessica actress asserted, “Actually he is really simple when he moves around. So, I'm actually the honeybee. I've to make way for my child and my husband.”

Having said that, it is worth mentioning here that Aditya Chopra faced cameras after years for The Romantics, a Netflix original documentary featuring the legacy of Yash Chopra and Yash Raj Films. Speaking of Rani, she was last seen in Mrs Chatterjee vs. Norway.
