Ranbir Kapoor CONFIRMS Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s relationship? Reveals Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga first met her at Arjun Reddy success party

Team Animal has begun promotions for their film. A full-length trailer, and four songs, ‘Hua Main’, ‘Satranga’, ‘Papa Meri Jaan’ and ‘Arjan Vailly’ have been released. Following the trailer unveiling on November 23 in New Delhi, Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga appeared on Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Telugu chat show Unstoppable with NBK to promote the movie. During the conversation, Ranbir Kapoor teased Rashmika Mandanna about her rumoured boyfriend Vijay Deverakonda and seemingly confirmed their relationship.

The conversation started when Nandamuri Balakrishna asked Vanga and Rashmika to pick a favourite poster between Arjun Reddy and Animal. Ranbir asked Rashmika to pick who was the better hero between him and Vijay Deverakonda. When she refused to participate, Balakrishna asked Vanga to make a phone call to Vijay. Ranbir quickly teased, “Sir, let Rashmika call, Vijay won’t pick up his call,” which left her blushing.

Further teasing her, Ranbir added, “Don’t show the phone what the name is huh,” which led her to change Vijay’s contact name. Vijay did not pick up Rashmika’s call either and then Sandeep tried to call again. After he picked up the phone call, Vanga handed over the phone to Rashmika as he asked, “What’s up, re?” She warned him that the phone was on speaker as the entire audience in the studio was listening to him. Teasing Vijay, Ranbir and Balakrishna asked Vijay who he loved more, the actor responded by taking Vanga’s name.

Then, they tried to make Rashmika pick between Ranbir’s Animal poster and Vijay’s Arjun Reddy poster. She said, “I have a connection with Arjun Reddy of its release so I have a connection with Arjun Reddy and Animal is my film, I like both of them.” When asked about the connection with the former movie by Ranbir, she started blushing. She then went on to reveal that Arjun Reddy was the first movie she had watched when she moved to Hyderabad. Ranbir Kapoor then revealed a ‘coincidence story’ and said, “Sandeep met Rashmika for the first time at Arjun Reddy’s success party on Vijay’s terrace.” This left her speechless as she said, “It’s not necessary to give all this information.”

It has long been rumoured that Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have been dating. They are often seen together on several vacations and occasions though pictured together.

Meanwhile, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar’s T-Series, Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios and Pranay Reddy Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures have backed Animal. The film, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is in the crime drama genre and is set to release on December 1, 2023.
