Five years ago, we met Sangram Bhalerao aka Simmba. Released in 2018, today marks five years since its inception as a pivotal instalment in Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe.

Directed by Shetty himself, the film seamlessly integrates into the larger cinematic cop world he has meticulously crafted. At its core, Simmba revolves around Bhalerao, played by an affable, feisty and passed on the couch energetic - Ranveer Singh, a morally ambiguous cop whose life takes a transformative turn.
