Shah Rukh Khan fans celebrate the arrival of Dunki in theatres in Aurangabad

The atmosphere has turned euphoric for Shah Rukh Khan fans who are rejoicing on the career high that their favourite idol witnessed in 2023. Adding to it further, the star, who was on a sabbatical for three years, has had two major releases already this year with Jawan and Pathaan, and marking the end of this year, is SRK’s third film Dunki. This entertainer which also marks his debut collaboration with Rajkumar Hirani has received much love from the fans of the superstar, so much so that they were celebrating it like a festival.

In a series of videos which have found their way on social media and are going viral, we can see the fans dancing and singing, basking in the merriness as they await to see their favourite star on the big screen. While many are seen holding huge placards, some of them have even created life-size posters and massive banners. They are seen bursting crackers and smoke sticks as Dunki entered theatres. This kind of massive fandom was also witnessed during SRK’s birthday this year when over lakhs of fans crowded outside his palatial residence in Mannat to wish him on the special occasion.

Speaking of the recently released Dunki, the film stars Taapsee Pannu as the leading lady along with Anil Grover, Vikram Kochchar, Boman Irani, among others in pivotal roles as well as Vicky Kaushal in an important cameo. The film, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Rajkumar Hirani Films, is expected to based on the concept of ‘donkey’ flight, an illegal way of immigrants entering countries, and released on December 21.
