Sonu Nigam enchants Ayodhya with his performance on ‘Ram Siya Ram’ at Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony; Shankar Mahadevan, Anuradha Paudwal sing Ram bhajans, watch videos

Ayodhya, today, is filled with the biggest of names from across the country. On the occasion of the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony at Ayodhya on January 22, celebrated actors, filmmakers, politicians and more are in attendance to witness this consecration ceremony. Amongst them is singer Sonu Nigam who graced the venue and crooned a soulful rendition of ‘Ram Siya Ram’.

Enchanting the crowd in Ayodhya on Monday morning, Sonu Nigam serenaded the attendees with his heartfelt performance at the spiritual venue. Singers Shankar Mahadevan and Anuradha Paudwal were seen singing Ram Bhajans at the ceremony.

Speaking to ANI on Sunday, Sonu said, “This is a very emotional moment. I am happy that there is joy and enthusiasm in the world wherever there is Sanatana Dharma. It feels great that we can see this, that God chose us to be born in an era when such an event is taking place. I am one of the fortunate people who have received an invitation...”

Amongst the celebrities who have arrived at the Ram Mandir are Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Anupam Kher, Chiranjeevi, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Randeep Hooda, Kangana Ranaut, Rishab Shetty, Madhur Bhandarkar, Jackie Shroff, Vivek Oberoi, Om Raut, Subhash Ghai, Rajkumar Hirani, Ram Charan, Ayushmann Khurrana, Rohit Shetty among many others.

Today, on January 22, the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya is set to take place, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi actively participating in the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. According to The Hindu, a carefully curated list of 506 influential personalities, ranging from politicians and industrialists to film stars, have received invitations for the event. Post the ceremony, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to address the attendees.
