Hema Malini reveals about the keen interest Esha Deol has in politics; says, “If she is interested, she will definitely join politics”

Esha Deol has always found support in her father and mother, Dharmendra and Hema Malini, professionally and personally. Recently, the actress is undergoing a low-key phase due to her divorce with Bharat Takhtani. Reports have it that her mother and yesteryear star Hema Malini is standing in support with her daughter and the actress turned politician also showcased her support for her professional journey too. In fact, she even hinted at the possibility of this Deol following the footsteps of her mother and joining politics.

For the unversed, Hema Malini, who is best known for her role as Basanti in Sholay and as the eternal ‘Dream Girl’ of Indian Cinema, is also the MP of Lok Sabha from Mathura Constituency. The actress turned politician revealed about the kind of support she receives from her family, especially her husband Dharmendra, when she was asked about whether her daughters Esha and Ahana share an interest in politics. The Dream Girl actress pointed out that the Dhoom actress have showcased her interest but has not decided on joining the industry.

Responding to the question of whether her daughters want to join politics, Hema Malini told ABP News, “If they want.” She went on to add about Esha Deol saying, “Esha is very much inclined for that. She likes to do it. So may be next few years, if she is interested, she will definitely join politics.”

On the professional front, Esha Deol, best known for her performance in films like Kaal, Dhoom, and Yuva, is currently busy shooting for projects. Along with pursuing acting, the actress is also a renowned dance performer who accompanies her mother as well as her sister Ahana Deol in their classical dance performances.
