Suriya cheers on Jyothika as Shaitaan releases; pens a heartwarming note for his “woman, partner and strength”

Suriya is showering his wife, actress Jyothika, with love and support as her latest film, Shaitaan, hits theatres! In a sweet social media post, Suriya shared a picture of himself giving a thumbs-up in front of a Shaitaan poster featuring Jyothika.

"To my woman! My partner, my strength! It's a new beginning again with Shaitaan! Proud of everything you do! Lots of respect and love! @jyotika," Suriya wrote in the heartwarming caption.

The excitement surrounding Shaitaan continued at a special screening held on Thursday night in Mumbai. The event had a touch of elegance with black being a popular choice for the evening. Stars like Ajay Devgn (who also appears in Shaitaan), Madhavan, and Jyothika herself, all sported stylish black outfits.

Jyothika was accompanied by her ever-supportive husband Suriya, while Ajay Devgn brought his son Yug along for the night. Other big names from the industry, including Karan Johar, Kartik Aaryan, and Aanand L Rai, were also spotted at the screening. Directed by Vikas Bahl, Shaitaan is a supernatural thriller that promises to keep audiences on the edge of their seats. It is the official remake of the 2023 Gujarati film, Vash.

Bollywood Hungama gave 4 stars to Shaitaan and described it as “a nailbiting thriller laced with superlative performances.”
