Last month, speaking to Variety, reflecting on the collaboration with Arijit Singh, Badshah expressed his excitement and reverence for the renowned singer, whom he views as a mentor and inspiration. “I was really excited about working with Arijit Singh because he’s someone I’ve looked up to,” Badshah remarked. “And, more than that, I was just happy to be in his company and learn a lot of things from him. Because, he for me is like a higher power.”

One of the standout moments of the album's creation was Arijit Singh's interpretation of Badshah's composition. “I composed and wrote the lyrics for the song and sent it to him. When it came back, it was a different song. I was literally crying listening to my composition in his voice. That was an almost supernatural catharsis,” Badshah shared.

The album, Ek Tha Raja, marks a significant milestone in Badshah's career, celebrating over 12 years of dedication to the music industry. Featuring collaborations with a stellar lineup of artists including Karan Aujla, Divine, Raftaar, and more, the album exemplifies Badshah's commitment to pushing artistic boundaries and exploring new creative horizons.

As Ek Tha Raja continues to captivate audiences worldwide, Badshah embarks on a tour across the United States, Singapore, and Canada, bringing his electrifying performances to fans across the globe.
