While the film was initially scheduled for an Independence Day release on August 15, 2024, Bollywood Hungama had reported that there would be a shift to Diwali 2024. This decision comes as the production requires more time to deliver the grand scale and meticulous detailing envisioned by Rohit Shetty, who is known for his larger-than-life action films.

According to sources close to the project, Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn are committed to delivering a high-quality film without compromising on their creative vision. Given the complexity of a movie like Singham Again, with extensive VFX and background scoring involved, pushing the release date allows the team to achieve the desired outcome.

Jio Studios, one of the film's producers, reportedly proposed the Diwali release window, which has proven successful for previous collaborations between Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn. An official announcement regarding the confirmed release date is expected soon, but sources confirm that the Independence Day release has been abandoned.<

With filming for Arjun Kapoor wrapped and a new release date on the horizon, anticipation for Singham Again continues to build. ALSO READ: Kareena Kapoor Khan describes Singham Again as ‘male testosterone movie’: “Deepika Padukone and I have very strong parts”
