Gulshan Devaiah, Saiyami Kher on digital premiere of 8 AM Metro: "It's a story that celebrates the beauty of human connections"

Actors Gulshan Devaiah and Saiyami Kher are elated as 8 AM Metro gears up for its digital release on Zee5, nearly a year after its theatrical debut. Gulshan, who stars alongside Saiyami Kher in central roles, eagerly awaited the film's release on an OTT platform, recognizing the importance of reaching a wider audience beyond limited theatrical screenings.

Reflecting on the journey of 8 AM Metro, Gulshan and Saiyami in a dual statement share, "We are absolutely thrilled that 8 AM Metro is finally making its way to the digital platform. While the film received glowing reviews from critics during its theatrical run, we were only able to have a limited release that prevented many potential viewers from experiencing it on the big screen. However, the overwhelming interest and inquiries about its digital release on social media reaffirmed the need to bring the film to audiences in the comfort of their homes."

Written and Directed by Raj Rachakonda, "8 AM Metro delves into the unique narrative of two strangers who serendipitously meet on a metro ride and forge an unexpected bond, ultimately discovering themselves and each other along the way. The film's poignant storytelling and compelling performances promise to resonate with audiences as it premieres on Zee5 on 10th May.

Gulshan expresses his gratitude for the opportunity to be part of such a meaningful project, stating, "Working on 8 AM Metro was a great experience, and I am immensely happy that this film is part of my career. It's a story that celebrates the beauty of human connections and the serendipitous moments that shape our lives."

Saiyami Kher, added, "I’m so happy that 8 AM Metro found a home on OTT. A small-budget film which was made with all heart. And I’m very happy to be a part of this film. How 2 strangers come into each other's lives and make them better people through this unique friendship. 8 AM Metro is a heartwarming, slice-of-life film which taught me more about myself."
