Anupam Kher praises Rajinikanth in a delightful video; says, “God’s gift to mankind”

Anupam Kher is a big Rajinikanth fan, and he proved it again when the two met in Delhi for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony. Kher shared a new video in which he is seen walking besides Rajinikanth and addressing him as “God's gift to mankind”.

In the footage, Anupam is seen with Rajinikanth, who is thronged by security personnel. Kher pointed his front camera at Rajinikanth and stated, “The one and only, Mr. Rajini-the-kanth! The one and only! God's gift to mankind! Waah (wow!).” Rajinikanth smiled as he accepted Kher's compliment and looked at the camera.

Many followers hurried to remark on the post, agreeing with what Kher had said.

A fan wrote, "Yes God's gift as you said, one of my favourite actors." Another fan wrote, "No doubt about it. "And how simple is he?" A comment also stated, "Two legends." Many people agreed. "True, sir. "He is a gift," said another commenter.

Rajinikanth attended Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony as India's Prime Minister on Sunday. As he headed for Delhi, the actor told media gathered outside the airport, “I am going to take part in the swearing-in ceremony... It is a very historic event… Assuming office for the third consecutive term is Narendra Modi’s big achievement, my hearty greetings to him. People have elected a robust opposition which is a healthy sign for democracy.”

Rajinikanth last appeared in Lal Salaam. He will soon appear in TJ Gnanavel's Vettaiyan, which will be released in October and co-stars Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, and Rana Daggubati. He will shortly resume filming for Lokesh Kanagaraj's Coolie.
