This method dressing approach has garnered much attention.

Kapoor's recent outfit featured a head-to-toe denim ensemble that accentuated her figure. The custom-made creation by Jade by Monica and Karishma comprised a strapless denim corset. But the true magic of the outfit lay in the cricket-inspired details. The gold embroidery on the dark blue denim subtly promoted the movie's theme, while adding a sporty touch to the mesmerizing look. To complement the embroidery on the corset, Kapoor opted for matching glossy gold pumps with pointed toes. The beautiful blue and gold hues beautifully complemented her complexion, proving that denim-on-denim can be a summer winner.

Accessorizing the chic outfit, Kapoor went all out with maximalist gold pieces. A custom-made, cricket-inspired statement necklace was the centerpiece, accompanied by dainty gold earrings and rings. Keeping her makeup subtle, she opted for a radiant base with a touch of rouge blush and highlighter on her cheeks. Shimmery eye shadow, well-shaped eyebrows, mascara, and a matte pink lipstick completed her look.

Ami Patel, the stylist behind the look, explained the inspiration, “Our identity in being a proud Indian is very rooted in couture, craft and the sport of cricket! Growing up these are themes that form a part of popoular culture in each Indian household. This totally fabulous crafted all denim look of a corset and pants, custom designed for Janhvi Kapoor styled by me from the grassroots Artisans Project from Jade by mk is a confluence of these themes! It’s a celebration of what we are passionate about as Indians.Monica Shah and I worked around these themes to spotlight our artisans and the new age modern Indian woman!.”

Patel further elaborated that the look was a collaboration between her and Monica Shah, aiming to spotlight Indian artisans and the new-age modern Indian woman. “Janhvi Kapoor embodies the essence of young India that celebrates the traditional with the modern simultaneously,” she said. “Just to tie all the ends together this look was especially curated for the movie Mr and Mrs Mahi which talks about women in cricket and challenging stereotypes!” ALSO READ: Janhvi Kapoor on her struggles after her mother Sridevi’s demise: I was drowning in insecurities
