Niti Taylor shuts down divorce rumours with heartwarming dinner date post

Niti Taylor, the beloved television actress who gained fame for her role as Nandini in the show Kaisi Hai Yaariaan and participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, has recently addressed ongoing rumours about her marriage. Married to her childhood sweetheart, Parikshit Bawa, on August 12, 2020, the couple had been the subject of divorce speculations for some time. However, Niti's latest post seems to put those rumours to rest.

A heartfelt dinner date

On June 15, 2024, Niti took to her Instagram stories to share a monochrome picture of herself with Parikshit, enjoying a dinner date with friends. The couple appeared to be in high spirits, sharing heartfelt laughter and enjoying their meal at a restaurant. This post marked Parikshit's return from his national duty as an Indian Army Officer, and the couple made the most of his brief time back home.

Social Media speculations and clarifications

The divorce rumours began when a Reddit user noticed that Niti had deleted some wedding photos from her Instagram and family videos from her YouTube channel. Additionally, she reportedly unfollowed Parikshit on Instagram and removed his surname from her handle. These actions led to widespread speculation about their relationship status. However, a report by TellyChakkar clarified that Niti still follows Parikshit on social media and that their relationship is intact. The removal of Parikshit's surname was attributed to astrological reasons.

Niti's response to public criticism

Despite the rumours, Niti Taylor has expressed her deep love and admiration for her husband. In a past interview with ETimes, she addressed public criticism of Parikshit's looks, emphasizing that looks are not everything. She remarked, "They comment on my partner but if you don’t find him hot it is your problem. I find him very handsome, and my God, looks are not everything. I’ll also become old and have wrinkles and not look the same. It is the person, personality, and nature who you are getting married to and these things will take you forward in life. Shakal surat kuchh matter nahin karta... your heart needs to be good."

A strong and loving relationship
