Tabu reveals Ajay Devgn once scolder her driver for slow driving; says, “Bailgaadi chala raha hai kya? Jaldi chala”

Tabu and Ajay Devgn are two actors who commonly work together in films. Their upcoming film, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, marks their ninth collaboration. However, their friendship has lasted decades and extends beyond the film industry. In a recent conversation, they discussed their long-standing friendship, with Tabu disclosing intriguing insights about Ajay's college years.

In an interview with The Lallantop, when asked about their long-lasting friendship in a field where partnerships sometimes terminate after a film's filming, Tabu replied, "Our friendship didn't start on a set, maybe that's why it has lasted."

When Tabu was asked about Ajay's younger days and how he was back then, she disclosed that he used to drive fairly quickly, which she said hasn't changed since. She explained, "He hasn't changed much. He used to drive an open jeep, but he no longer does, but his speed remains constant." However, Ajay denied this, alleging that he is now driving significantly slower. Tabu related an instance involving his fast driving and said, “Now also if he offers to drop me, I get scared. One day he stopped my car and told my driver, ‘Bailgaadi chala raha hai kya? Jaldi chala. Meri gaadi peeche hai.” Ajay defended himself and said this happened 25 years ago.

Ajay explained his young arrogance and said, “I don’t deny it. When you are 18-19, you live life a certain way and then you understand things and change. This happens to everyone.”

Tabu and Ajay first appeared on screen together in the 1994 film Vijaypath. They have also appeared in films like as Haqeeqat, Thakshak, Drishyam, Fitoor, Golmaal Again, De De Pyaar De, Drishyam 2, and Bhola. Their upcoming film, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, will be released on August 2. Neeraj Pandey wrote and directed the movie.
