Kriti Sanon calls Stree 2 a blockbuster as it break records

Stree 2, starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, has finally been released, and it has already set box office records. The horror comedy drew an incredible response from the audience. Kriti Sanon lauded the film, describing it as a blockbuster. She resorted to Instagram stories to offer a lengthy message.

Kriti shared the poster of the film and wrote, “Absolutely Killed it! It’s a BLOCKBUSTER! It’s a laughter riot with superb performances and an outstanding climax! @amarkaushik kamaal kar diya yaar!! So proud #Dinoo @maddockfilms You guys are on a roll! “@rajkummar_rao you’re sooo good my friend and the chemistry of you 4 @pankajtripathi @nowitsabhi @aparshakti_khurana is unmatchable! Laughed till my cheeks hurt!  @shraddhakapoor that swag and the hero entry-I wanted to whistle!!” In response to this, Rajkummar shared Sanon’s review and expressed gratitude stating, “Thank you so much, Kriti”.

Amar Kaushik's much-anticipated sequel, Stree 2, has rocked the box office, setting a new record for 2024 with an outstanding opening day revenue of Rs 54.35 crore in India. The picture, which was released on Independence Day, not only outperformed predictions but also became the year's largest opener.

Stree 2 stars Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee, and Pankaj Tripathi, and it builds on the popularity of its predecessor from 2018. According to Sacnilk.com, the film garnered Rs 8 crore during special opening premieres on Wednesday, followed by a whopping Rs 46 crore on its official release date. This combined sum of Rs 54.35 crore has set a new record, exceeding previous highs such as Kalki 2898 AD and Fighter.
