Shraddha Kapoor reflects on her 6-year bond with Amar Kaushik & Dinesh Vijan amid Stree 2’s blockbuster success: “Their vision and passion have brought this series to life”

As Stree 2 continues to remain a favourite amongst moviegoers, Shraddha Kapoor took to social media on Friday to express her gratitude for the journey that has spanned six years. The actress shared a heartfelt collage of photos from the first Stree film juxtaposed with more recent ones, capturing the evolution of her character and her bond with the creative team. In a caption, Kapoor acknowledged the pivotal role played by producer Dinesh Vijan and director Amar Kaushik in bringing the Stree series to life.

She expressed her heartfelt thanks for their belief in her and for including her in this extraordinary cinematic venture. "I am incredibly grateful to Dinoo and Amar for allowing me to be a part of the Stree franchise," Kapoor shared. "Their vision and passion have brought this series to life, and I feel privileged to have been a part of it."

The Stree series, which follows the story of a mysterious spirit who haunts a small town, has captivated audiences with its unique blend of horror, comedy, and social commentary. Kapoor's portrayal of the titular character has been widely praised for its nuance and authenticity.

Stree 2, which hit theatres on August 15, continued the franchise's winning streak, garnering both critical acclaim and commercial success. The film featured an ensemble cast, including Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi, and Abhishek Banerjee, and also featured special cameos by Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan, and Tamannaah Bhatia. Released on Independence Day 2024, the film has garnered Rs. 453.60 crores at the box office till now.
