Ishaan Khatter confirms he's dating someone not as 'established'; talks about challenges of dating in the public eye

Ishaan Khatter, one of Bollywood's rising stars, has confirmed that he’s currently in a relationship, although he remains tight-lipped about the details. In a recent interview with The Dirty Magazine, the Dhadak actor opened up about the challenges of being in the public eye, particularly when it comes to his private life.

Protecting his relationship When asked about his dating life, Ishaan confirmed that he is not single and hinted that he is in a relationship with someone not as 'established' as he is. While rumours swirl about his relationship with Malaysian model Chandni Bainz, Ishaan avoided directly naming his partner. “I've been in a relationship with someone who is not as established as me, so I'm very aware of how it affects the women I’m with,” he said, emphasizing the importance of keeping his personal life guarded.

Dealing with public scrutiny Ishaan explained that being open about his private life in public could impact his partner, which is why he chooses to stay discreet. “Talking about private life in public affects the women I’m with,” he said. The actor also acknowledged that the constant attention from the media and paparazzi adds pressure, making him more protective of his relationships.

A reflective partner During the interview, Ishaan also shared insights into his personality as a boyfriend. Describing himself as a "good partner," he admitted that he has "flaws," but has been working on them since his past relationships. He confessed that his biggest flaw is being "overly emotional" but stressed that he’s trying to improve.

Spotted with Chandni Bainz Over the past year, Ishaan has often been seen with Chandni Bainz, fuelling dating rumours. The two were first spotted together in September 2023 and were later seen attending a screening of Shahid Kapoor’s film Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya earlier this year. Despite their public appearances, the actor remains protective of his private life and continues to avoid confirming details about the relationship.
