Radhikka Madan reveals her intense transformation secrets behind her debut as Champa Badki Kumari; says, “Nobody even recognized me after Pataakha”

Radhikka Madan has spent six years in the entertainment industry. During this time, she has made her mark and built a loyal fan base through consistent performances. She debuted in Indian cinema with Vishal Bharadwaj's Pataakha.

In the character of Champa 'Badki' Kumari, the actress gave a very convincing performance. Despite Pataakha being her first film, Radhikka Madan completely stepped into the shoes of the character and made everyone bowled with her raw and gripping performance.

In a recent interview, Radhikka Madan was asked about Pataakha. The actress spoke about the film and said, “It’s my favorite film and I was blessed to work with Vishal Bharadwaj sir, the character demanded a major transition so I gained 1 kgs, stained my teeth and bleached my hair. Nobody recognized me after Pataakha. They couldn't make out if it's the same girl”

This can't be denied that right from her first film Pataakha, Radhikka Madan made it very clear that she is here to stay. With her sparkling presence, acting prowess, and her body of work, she has emerged as an unstoppable force in the Indian Cinema.

On the work front, Radhikka Madan appeared alongside Akshay Kumar in Sarfira, playing the role of a Marathi girl named Rani. She will next be seen in Rumi Ki Sharafat, her fifth project with Maddock Films, and the internationally acclaimed film Sanaa, directed by Sudhanshu Saria, which has been featured at several prestigious international film festivals.
