Badshah calls Diljit Dosanjh a ‘Khoobsurat Insaan’; Shreya Ghoshal admires his sense of humuor

Shreya Ghoshal and Badshah, both acclaimed singers with massive fanbases, are admired as legends and inspirations. However, the two playback stars also admitted they'd like to borrow a few qualities from actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh. In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Badshah described Diljit as a "khoobsurat insaan," while Shreya expressed admiration for his sharp sense of humor.

Shreya Ghoshal and Badshah are teaming up as judges for a singing reality show for the first time. In addition to their time on set, the two music icons sat down for an exclusive interview. During the conversation, they praised Diljit Dosanjh while discussing the music industry’s top talents. When asked what trait of Diljit's they admire most, Shreya mentioned his vibrant and energetic personality.

She added, “Mujhe Diljit Dosanjh ka sense of humuor bhi sahi lagta hai. I want to steal that. He is always funny.” To this, Badshah added, “He is effortlessly funny.” They both agreed that he is honest and sweet. The rapper also mentioned that Diljit is a ‘khoobsurat insaan'. He added, “Kuch bhi chura lo inse vo value addition hoga. In fact, any that you can get from Arijit, AR Rahman, or Sonu Nigam, even their 5-minutes are enough.”

During the conversation with Pinkvilla, the singer revealed that he wants to steal AR Rahman's Grammy Award. The Kala Chashma singer further added, “I have seen sir once or twice sitting on his piano and playing a beat. When it ends, I think, wow, it was so good, and he immediately says it was bad.”

Badshah and Diljit collaborated on the song Naina for the movie Crew. The rapper recently attended Dosanjh's gig in London alongside Hania Aamir.
