Baby John actors Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi and others perform Bhasma Aarti at Mahakal Temple in Ujjain

The highly anticipated Christmas entertainer Baby John is a day away from its release. While the entire team, including actors Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi are seen neck-deep in promoting the film, ahead of its release, the trio along with producer Priya Atlee, her husband Atlee and film’s director Kalees decided to make a spiritual trip to the picturesque town of Ujjain. They visited the revered Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga temple to seek the blessings of the Almighty.

In fact, actor Varun Dhawan also participated in the sacred Bhasma Aarti, a unique and spiritually significant ritual at the temple. Speaking about the experience, Varun Dhawan said, "Visiting Mahakaleshwar has always been a dream. Being here feels surreal—the energy is so powerful and calming that it left me truly at peace. I'm leaving with a sense of positivity and gratitude." The actor also shared a glimpse of his visit on Instagram for his social media fam and captioned it saying, “Blessed (folded hands emoji) Jai Mahakal”.

Baby John, produced by Jio Studios, A For Apple, and Cine1 Studios, is a remake of the Atlee directorial Theri starring Thalapathy Vijay, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and Amy Jackson. The Hindi version will feature Varun Dhawan in the lead role of a cop with Keerthy Suresh making her Bollywood debut and Wamiqa Gabbi essaying the role of Amy. With Jackie Shroff as the antagonist, the film is a power-packed action drama featuring Varun in a never-seen-before avatar. The film will hit the theatres on December 25, 2024.
