Manav Vij on shooting Tanaav in Kashmir, "It is not very risky at all, it was amazing to shoot there"

In Applause Entertainment’s excellent Tanaav, Manav Vij plays the main lead of the helmer in the Special Task Force. He said he is very happy with what he, and the series, have achieved. “Every time I decide to create a character, it takes a huge part of my energy and Kabir is no different. The amazing part about playing Kabir has been his never dying spirit and survival instincts. No matter what comes his way, he will never stop fighting. The cast-crew and I have spent so much time together and faced many challenges together ab toh yeh sab khaas ho gaye mere. I love working with Applause Entertainment because the team is extremely zealous. Sameer Nair has a unique power to see things that others can’t, and at the same he doesn’t lose the proper perspective,” he said.

Speaking of working in Kashmir, Manav is rapturous. “It was amazing to shoot there,” he said. “It is not very risky at all as we got all the support we want from the people as well as authorities and Kashmir will be always be a huge part of my heart always .

Manav is happy with his progress so far as an actor. “Hanji bilkul as I said there is nothing wrong or right once you have surrendered to the character. I just wish to keep working always. Can’t even think of taking a break. My next series is tentatively titled Innocent, again with Applause Entertainment. E Niwas, who is my favourite, directed it and it’s come out very well. I am sure it will be loved unanimously,” he said.
