The film is already one of the most awaited cinematic events, considering that its prequel tasted immense success. The prequel, which also featured Sunny in the lead role along with an extensive ensemble cast presented a deep insight into the infamous Indo-Pakistan war of 1971 which was known as the Battle of Longewala. Following the footsteps of its predecessor, we hear that the second instalment too will be based on true events, although details of the same are kept under wraps.
Border 2 is backed by a powerhouse production team comprising Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, JP Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta. Presented by Gulshan Kumar & T-Series in association with JP Dutta’s J.P. Films and helmed by Anurag Singh, the sequel is set to carry forward the legacy of the iconic original while delivering a grand cinematic experience. While the actors have been announced, the makers are yet to unveil the name of actresses who will be seen as the leading ladies in this entertainer.
