Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist, Aamir Khan, celebrated his 60th birthday on March 14, 2025. While the superstar is making headlines for confirming his relationship with Gauri Spratt, his ex-wife Kiran Rao added a touch of warmth with an emotional social media post, calling him the “VVIP” in her and their son Azad’s lives.

Kiran Rao’s Touching Birthday Tribute to Aamir Khan Kiran Rao, who parted ways with Aamir in 2021, took to social media to share a series of cherished photographs capturing their journey together. The post featured a solo portrait of Aamir, followed by a joyful family picture with Kiran and their 13-year-old son, Azad Rao Khan. Other throwback images included an adorable moment of Aamir flying a kite with Azad during Makar Sankranti and a playful snapshot of Kiran holding chopsticks while posing with Aamir.

Aamir Khan’s Journey with Kiran Rao and Beyond Aamir Khan’s relationship with Kiran Rao began on the sets of Lagaan, where she served as an assistant director. The two tied the knot in December 2005, three years after Aamir’s divorce from his first wife, Reena Dutta, in 2002. Aamir and Reena share two children, son Junaid and daughter Ira, while Kiran, Aamir welcomed Azad via surrogacy in 2011. Despite announcing their separation in July 2021, the duo has continued to support each other, collaborating professionally and raising Azad together.
