Kunal Kemmu marks one year of Madgaon Express, teases next project in heartfelt post: “Must tell more stories. Specially since I’ve finished…”

Bollywood actor-turned-director Kunal Kemmu is basking in the joy of a milestone as his directorial debut, Madgaon Express, completes one year. The comedy-drama, which hit theaters on March 22, 2024, marked Kunal’s first venture behind the camera, earning him critical acclaim and audience love. IIFA Win and a Grateful Dedication Just days before the anniversary, Kunal’s achievement was celebrated at the IIFA Awards 2024, where he clinched the Best Debut Director award. Overwhelmed with gratitude, he dedicated the honor to his team, family, and fans in an emotional Instagram post. “Aaila, Iifa!! Mae abhi bhi debut kar raha hoon / Thank you so much @iifa for this honour (best directorial debut) for Madgaon Express,” he wrote.

He also praised his actors for their faith and dedication: “You guys are incredible and made all my characters come to life in the best way possible.” Kunal didn’t stop there—he extended his appreciation to his technicians, family, media, content creators, and, most importantly, the audience, whose love turned Madgaon Express into a memorable cinematic ride.
