Bollywood couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were recently seen inspecting their house in Mumbai on April 16. The visit came just days after they celebrated their third wedding anniversary. The construction of their new home is still underway.
Pinkvilla shared a video of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s outing on Instagram, showing them at the site of their future home. Ranbir wore a black T-shirt, matching shorts, sneakers, and a cap as he arrived. Alia was dressed casually in a shirt and shorts and was seen waiting for him. The video shows Ranbir checking the progress of their home’s construction. It ends with the couple sitting in their car and leaving the site.
The bungalow has been under construction for several years. Named Krishna Raj after Ranbir’s grandmother, the mansion holds deep emotional value for the Kapoor family. It originally belonged to Ranbir’s grandparents, Raj Kapoor and Krishna Raj. In 1980, it was reportedly inherited by the late Rishi Kapoor and Neetu, who raised their family there. In 2016, Rishi and Neetu began plans to reconstruct the property.
Earlier, it was said that Ranbir might name the bungalow after his and Alia’s daughter, Raha. According to Bollywood Life, the new bungalow is said to have cost the family around Rs. 250 crores. It’s also speculated that once the bungalow is complete, the entire Kapoor family, including Neetu Kapoor, will live together in the same house. At present, Alia and Ranbir live with Raha at their home, Vastu.
Ranbir and Alia celebrated their third wedding anniversary on April 14. To mark the occasion, the actress shared a photo on Instagram of them cuddling on a beach. Along with the picture, she wrote, “Home, always. #Happy3”
