The post featured director David Dhawan, actor Varun Dhawan, Pooja Hegde, Chunky Panday, Jimmy Shergill, cinematographer Ayananka Bose, and director Rohit Dhawan among others. The image offered a rare group moment capturing the core team unwinding after a day’s shoot.
An Ensemble Working Behind the Scenes The photo reflects a collaborative energy between generations of filmmakers and actors. With David Dhawan at the helm of the project and Varun Dhawan leading the cast alongside Pooja Hegde and Mrunal Thakur, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai appears to be bringing together a dynamic team. While official details about the film’s storyline remain under wraps, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai is confirmed to be a David Dhawan directorial. The film will mark another collaboration between the director and his son, Varun Dhawan, after Main Tera Hero, Judwaa 2 and Coolie No 1. The film went on the floors in July 2024; however, the shooting was halted later for a brief period after David Dhawan’s hospitalisation. Pooja and Varun were recently snapped in Rishikesh.
