Hrithik Roshan gets nostalgic over rare throwback video of stage performance with Lucky Ali

Following his spectacular Bollywood debut in 2000 with Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai, Hrithik Roshan quickly rose to fame, captivating fans with his appearance and dance abilities. Throughout the years, he consistently wowed audiences with his dance performances. Recently, the actor felt nostalgic after fans posted a video of him singing and dancing alongside Lucky Ali.

The video featured a young Hrithik performing on stage at the Zee Cine Awards in 2000 to his song ‘Na Tum Jaane Na Hum’ from the film Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai. As it continued, Hrithik was seen dancing with shadows, and eventually, Lucky Ali joined him on stage. The clip also showcased a rare moment of Hrithik displaying his singing talent. A fan posted the video on Instagram, prompting Hrithik to fondly recall the cherished memory.

Hrithik shared the video on Instagram with a nostalgic note, writing, “The genius of @ganeshhhegde I still remember the excitement on watching the shadow dance gone right! And singing with lucky bhai what a night! Thanks to the zillion rehearsals And thanks for posting this and taking me back.”

The video left fans thoroughly impressed. One fan remarked, "This reminds me of the craze of Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, Bollywood please bring back that era." Another expressed, "I miss the time when dance was actually choreographed nicely." A user simply stated, "Two gems." Meanwhile, another comment read, “Amazing, I can never forget these performances... It was lovely to watch it again.”

Hrithik's debut film, a romantic musical directed by Rakesh Roshan and co-starring Ameesha Patel, turned out to be a massive blockbuster. The movie also included a strong supporting cast featuring Anupam Kher, Dalip Tahil, Mohnish Bahl, Ashish Vidyarthi, Satish Shah, Farida Jalal, Asha Patel, Rajesh Tandon, and Tannaz Irani. The story revolved around Sonia and Rohit, whose budding romance ends in tragedy, after which Sonia meets Raj—Rohit's lookalike—in New Zealand. As the narrative progresses, the two join forces to uncover the mystery behind Rohit’s death.

Hrithik is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji. The movie also features Kiara Advani and Jr NTR in key roles. Produced by Aditya Chopra, the film is set to hit theatres on 14 August.
