Ajay Devgn hails Vash Level 2 as a masterclass in Gujarati horror; showers praises on onscreen daughter Janki Bodiwala

The highly anticipated Gujarati supernatural psychological horror film, Vash: Level 2, has taken audiences by storm, receiving positive reviews since its theatrical release on August 27, 2025. Adding to the film’s widespread acclaim, Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn took to social media to celebrate the success of Vash Level 2, praising the team and singling out Janki Bodiwala for her remarkable performance.

Taking to Instagram, Aja Devgn shared a heartfelt post about the film by dropping the trailer along with the caption that read, “Good cinema travels far… Best wishes to Krishnadev Yagnik, Kumar Mangat Pathak and the entire team of Vash Vivash Level 2. A special shoutout to Janki Bodiwala for shining yet again.”

Directed by Krishnadev Yagnik and produced by Krunal Soni and Kalpesh Soni, the film brings together a stellar ensemble cast which includes Hitu Kanodia, Monal Gajjar, and Hiten Kumar in pivotal roles, marking the return of Janki Bodiwala as Aarya. Serving as a sequel to the 2023 National Award-winning film Vash, which was later adapted into the Hindi blockbuster Shaitaan starring Ajay Devgn and R. Madhavan, Vash: Level 2 continues the spine-chilling legacy of its predecessor.

The story spans twelve years after saving his daughter Aarya from a dark, malevolent force, Atharva discovers that the evil never truly left her. When a series of violent, puppet-like attacks target a group of schoolgirls, Atharva is compelled to confront this darkness once again — this time facing the formidable black magician, Pratap.

Critics and audiences alike have lauded the film and the way it seamlessly blends psychological tension with supernatural thrills. The release of the Hindi-dubbed version, Vash Vivash Level 2, has further broadened its reach, allowing non-Gujarati-speaking audiences to experience the eerie world created by Yagnik and his team. With its combination of intense performances, hair-raising suspense, and a narrative that pushes the boundaries of regional cinema, Vash Level 2 has firmly established itself as one of the most exciting releases of 2025.
