Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt made his much-anticipated return to the horror genre with the teaser release of his upcoming film, Haunted 3D: Ghosts of the Past. The teaser gave audiences a first look into a supernatural thriller set to hit theatres on September 26, 2025.
The motion poster revealed a haunting mansion and an enigmatic female figure, setting the eerie tone for the narrative. Bhatt, known for his horror films in Bollywood, brought back his signature style with updated 3D visuals and a psychological twist.
The teaser introduced a group of five friends led by Mimoh Chakraborty and Chetna Pande who found themselves trapped in a cursed house, triggering a series of spine-chilling events. Though brief, the teaser hinted at an intense blend of suspense, emotion, and supernatural horror.
Backed by producers Anand Pandit, Rakesh Juneja, and Shwetambari Bhatt, and presented by Mahesh Bhatt, the film aims to revive the success of its predecessor while taking a modern approach to horror storytelling.
Anand Pandit stated that the film strived to move beyond jump scares, focusing instead on emotional depth and atmospheric tension to create a more immersive experience.
Haunted 3D: Ghosts of the Past is positioned as a fresh take on horror in Indian cinema with technical innovation.
