Kratika Sengar Dheer pens heartfelt note for late father-in-law Pankaj Dheer: “You weren’t just my father-in-law; you were my Dad, my friend, my safe place”

Actor Pankaj Dheer’s passing earlier this month left a deep void in the hearts of his family, friends, and admirers. His daughter-in-law, television star Kratika Sengar Dheer, has now shared an emotional tribute to the late veteran, remembering him as much more than a father-in-law — as her “Dad, friend, and safe place.”

Taking to social media, Kratika posted a heartfelt note filled with cherished memories of her time with Pankaj Dheer. She recalled how he never liked being called an “in-law” and always insisted on calling her his daughter. “You never liked the word in-laws — you’d always say, ‘She’s my daughter,’ and that’s exactly how you treated me,” Kratika wrote.

In her post, the actress fondly remembered their bond, their long conversations, and his unique way of expressing affection. “You weren’t just my father-in-law; you were my Dad, my friend, my safe place. We’d talk for hours about everything and nothing, and now the silence feels so heavy without you,” she shared. Kratika also thanked him for the love he showered on her daughter, adding that little Devika will always remember him as her “Bestest Daadu.”

The post struck a chord with fans and industry colleagues, who flooded the comments section with messages of love and condolences. Many praised the touching note for reflecting the warmth and depth of their family bond.
