Ishaan Khatter is gearing up to begin shooting for the second season of Netflix’s The Royals, which is set to go on floors in September. He will be returning to headline the series as it heads into its next chapter.
Alongside The Royals, Ishaan will also be seen in Jugaadu, an upcoming action comedy that marks his first “in and as” lead role in a feature film. The film marks the feature directorial debut of Palash Vaswani, best known for the acclaimed series Gullak. Recently, Palash shared a glimpse of Ishaan on his Instagram Story, writing, “Just casually dropping this story to appreciate how brilliant you are. Big hug and more power to you brother,” appreciating the actor’s work on Jugaadu.
On the personal front, sources suggest, that the actor is also stepping into this new phase of his life newly single. Ishaan had been linked to model and actress Chandni Bainz for some time, although the two never officially confirmed their relationship. The pair were frequently spotted together in the past but have not been seen together in recent months. Sources suggest that the two have amicably gone their separate ways.
